July 4th Crafts for Kids

I am not sure about you, but for me I am always looking for things to keep the kids busy in the summer time. I hate to see them just set around and do nothing. Sure they have chores and things they have to do. However you can only fond so many things that need to be done.

Years ago when the kids were younger we started craft projects, each week. Just something for them to work on an hour or so a day to keep busy. We've made our own decorations for BBQ's, Birthday's and church dinners. We've gotten head starts on Christmas gifts and because I Love you gifts for friends.

Earlier this week, I came across a great post about DIY decor for 4th of July. When I checked that one out, this one came up for the kids! I love finding new ideas for them, because lets face it after all these years sometimes I am at a loss for new projects!
